Paul Davies is a seasoned Trainer delivering a wide range of hospitality and business qualifications. With more than 20 years of industry expertise, Paul’s extensive knowledge and hands-on experience enable him to tailor training content to suit specific roles and venues.

Paul began his hospitality journey at 17, working at Pizza Hut before transitioning to a kitchenhand role at a Commercial Hotel. Eager to learn more, he moved into restaurant and bar shifts, gaining valuable front-of-house experience.

Paul also worked in retail as a liquor attendant in the liquor barn, drive-thru, and detached bottle shops. When an opportunity arose to step into a Duty Manager role, Paul eagerly took on the challenge. His hard work and dedication quickly led to promotions as Assistant Manager and eventually Venue Manager. Over the years, Paul successfully managed a portfolio of diverse venues offering bar, gaming, food, and accommodation services, stretching from the Gold Coast to Bundaberg.

Paul is a firm believer in continuous learning and professional development. His qualifications include:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • Diploma of Leadership and Management
  • Certificate III in Retail
  • Certificate III in Business/Business Administration
  • Certificate III in Customer Engagement
  • Certificate III in Work Health and Safety

He has also completed numerous short courses, including Food Safety, Child Safety, RSA, Responsible Management of Licensed Venues, RSG (QLD & NSW), CLO, and Gaming Nominee training. Paul is now working towards completing his Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
