  • Learn how to follow current harm minimisation legislation, industry and organisational policies and codes of conduct.
  • The course includes (but is not limited to): exclusion provisions, signage and staff training requirements.
  • Participants will receive a Safer Gambling Toolkit with the latest Responsible Gambling Code of Practice, signage, checklists, contact details for a local gambling helpline, exclusion forms, and a range of safer gambling brochures to have in the venue.

Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) Training, SITHGAM022 Responsible Service of Gambling (Accredited Training), Gaming Host Training + Safer Gambling ‘Venue Health Check’ Walkaround 

6 hour training session.

  • Presentation from a specialised CTA Training Consultant. 
  • Respond appropriately to gambling-related incidents by communicating with relevant staff, maintaining accurate records, and providing support service information in line with legal and organisational requirements. 
  • To provide an effective mechanism for people who are experiencing harm from gambling to avoid opportunities to gamble.
  • To assist in strengthening existing legislation to prevent the potential for harm to arise from gambling in Queensland.
  • Ensure gambling environmental features support responsible gambling policies. 
  • Display signage and information related to responsible gambling in appropriate places visible to players, according to industry, enterprise, and legislative requirements.
