Karen has been an integral part of the business for over 20 years with a variety of roles including Executive PA, Office Manager, Consultant, and Training Administration Manager. Karen specializing in liquor and gaming licensing, community impact assessments, strategic and operational plans, mystery shopping, and various research initiatives.
Karen began her career in office administration through a traineeship at an accountancy firm. Her strong work ethic and keen organizational skills helped her rise to the position of Office Manager, laying the foundation for her successful career.
Karen’s learning journey has been shaped by hands-on experience and continuous growth. Starting with administration and basic accounting during her traineeship, she went on to develop data analysis skills while working at the Irish Tourist Board, where she managed tourism grants. Since joining DWS, Karen has broadened her knowledge by working closely with hospitality and consulting teams, learning from colleagues, and gaining valuable insights through strategic planning sessions and client interactions.
