With over 15 years in the hospitality industry and a decade in training, Christian has built a career that spans hands-on operational roles, senior management, and industry training. His background in pubs and Clubs has given him extensive leadership experience, leading him to transition into training, operations, and key account management.
Christian’s hospitality journey began at 17 as a cleaner in a Club in Toowoomba—scrubbing toilets and vacuuming floors. From there, he worked his way up through front-of-house roles before stepping into management. Over the years, he gained valuable experience across venues in Toowoomba, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, eventually finding his passion in training.
Dedicated to professional development, Christian first earned a Certificate IV in Hospitality, followed by a Diploma of Hospitality through the Foster’s Leadership Academy (now Australia Club Management Institute). Committed to lifelong learning, he also completed a Certificate III in Business and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) to further refine his skills.
After leaving his last venue role and relocating his family to the Gold Coast, Christian took a well-earned break—fit, tanned, and enjoying life by the beach. However, as his savings dwindled (and his wife’s patience wore thin), he was on the verge of returning to club management when a life-changing call came through—a training opportunity with CTA Training Specialists. Training had always been his passion, and from that moment, the rest was history.
Now, Christian is dedicated to sharing his industry knowledge with future hospitality professionals, equipping them with the skills and opportunities to build long and rewarding careers.
