Founded in 1993
By Chairman John Dickson, CTA Training Specialists (formerly Club Training Australia) started as a small training company in Queensland where “Brighter futures are just the beginning”.
Recognising the growing needs of the hospitality industry, we evolved into a national training organisation with offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, which are equipped to support the sector’s growth under increasingly stringent statutory requirements. Over three decades later, CTA has grown to provide a full spectrum of training services, including traineeships, apprenticeships, and targeted training solutions for the industry. CTA Training Specialists is one of Australia’s leading Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), widely recognised for delivering industry-specific training solutions for the hospitality and business sectors.

CTA Training Specialists partners with UniSC to offer credit transfer pathways into its Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degrees. Graduates of our business and leadership courses can receive up to 8 courses of advanced standing, making it faster and more affordable to complete a university qualification.
Club Managers Assoc. of Australia
In partnership with Club Managers Assoc. of Australia, CTA Training Specialists provide industry training in Queensland for members to meet the academic requirements for the Active Certified Club Manager Award (ACCM). We are also their preferred training provider for frontline hospitality training nationwide.
Clubs Queensland
