Creating a Classroom Café with Trinity Bay State High School

Australians love coffee! In fact, more than one in four (27%) Australians say that they cannot survive the day without it! With numbers like these, making the perfect coffee beverage has become an essential skill in the eyes of many.

That’s where CTA Training Specialists (CTA) teaches how to make a great cup of coffee. CTA’s Trainers Jake and Lisa recently visited Trinity Bar State High School to train students on the art of café culture. These courses included SITHFAB002 Responsible Service of Alcohol, SITHFAB005 Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee, and SITHFAB004 Prepare and Serve Non-Alcoholic Beverages.

Using a hands-on and real-world approach, students were given the opportunity to create and operate their own theoretical café. This involved not only planning a menu, but also allocating costs, organising workflow, and serving their new beverage creations to teachers.

We wish the students all the best for their future and look forward to seeing them make their mark through delicious coffee beverages!
