About RSA
Like most other states, Western Australia requires anyone who works with the sale, supply or service of liquor to have a valid RSA certificate. This applies to both paid and volunteer staff.
If employed without an RSA, you have 28 days from the start of employment to complete the course and provide a copy of your Statement of Attainment to your employer.
Your RSA Statement of Attainment (Certificate) does not expire in Western Australia. There is no need to retake the course. CTA Training Specialists recommends refreshing your skills every 3-5 years to ensure you are up to date with the latest best practices and regulations that affect your role.
