This Gaming Nominee course is for those wanting to be appointed as the Gaming Nominee at a gambling venue. The course includes Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) training.

Upon completion of this course, you will need to submit the Certificate of Completion and your RSG certification to OLGR to get your Gaming Nominee Licence. The licence is only valid in QLD and does not expire. There is no legal requirement to renew or refresh your course, but we recommend doing it every 3-5 years to stay up to date with the latest regulations and best practices. You will need to renew your Gaming Nominee Licence (Not Training) every 5 years.

FAQs

A Gaming Nominee is an employee who performs managerial functions and is responsible for the conduit of gaming at a licensed premises. The OLGR requires all licensed premises to have one Gaming Nominee.

The Gaming Nominee course is 10 hours long and delivered in 1 day from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm. Most sessions are held at CTA Training head office in Northgate, QLD, but they can also be held offsite and in your venue.

Your certificate will not expire, however you may wish to complete refresher training to ensure you maintain your knowledge. However, you will need to renew your Gaming Nominee Licence every five years.
