Celebrating the ACMI 22/23 Graduates

This November, we celebrated the graduation of the 22/23 Australian Club Management Institute cohort at Kedron-Wavell.

Upon embarking on their learning journey in 2022, the cohort completed various modules of their qualification at leading QLD Clubs from where the graduates were selected for their strong work ethic and passion.

Since the program’s inception in 2002, an important takeaway from the program is that students engage with the course content and one another, providing a unique opportunity to network with their fellow cohort and make friendships that last a lifetime.

It was wonderful to see this reflected on the evening as the graduates shared their experiences, laughing and enjoying one another’s company.

We were fortunate on the evening to be joined by members of the ACMI Alumni, Danni Francis (GM Aspley Hornets) and Teresa Cavill-Jones (GM Jets Leagues Club) who celebrated with the graduates and welcomed them into an esteemed group of Alumni within the industry.

The group has celebrated a number of accomplishments during and since they completed their program, with three of the group earning promotions at their respective venues and some members becoming new parents.

As the group’s Trainer and host throughout the program, Jason McIlroy, shared how proud he was of the group:

“You’ve not only grown as individuals but as a collective, a cohort bound by a shared purpose. It’s this unity that has fuelled your success and will undoubtedly propel you forward in your future endeavours.”
