School based Trainees a Roaring Success at Lions Richlands

In February, Lions Richlands held a graduation for their highly successful school based program.  Twelve local school children were given the opportunity to study through Club Training Australia, in a Certificate III in Hospitality.

The students, all from Forest Lake State High School, were presented their certificates by Annastacia Palaszczuk, QLD State Minister for Transport, with Councillor Milton Dick also in attendance, supporting the achievements of both the club and students.

In a fantastic result for all involved, the community benefits directly, with six of the twelve trainees being offered further employment.

Online local newspaper The Satellite share the success as Lions Richlands HR manager Richard Barrett prepares to undergo the school based process again.
