Queensland licensees should specifically be aware of restricted trading hours for Good Friday (Friday 29 March).

On the Thursday before Good Friday, licensed premises can only serve alcohol until midnight, even if they normally stay open longer. The bar must finish serving at this time, but patrons have until 12.30am to finish drinks and leave the premises.
Gaming machines are not allowed to operate after midnight.
Friday 29 March 2013
On Good Friday, licensed premises can open from 10am. However, alcohol can only be served with a meal prepared on the premises and eaten in an area on premises ordinarily set aside for dining. Patrons can drink alcohol for one hour before dining, while they are dining and up to one hour after dining.
Gaming machines are not permitted to operate at all on Good Friday.
Saturday 30 March 2013 to Monday 1 April 2013
Usual liquor and gaming trading conditions resume on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
