NSW ARCG Training at a Glance
ARCG stands for Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling. The course is designed to teach the Responsible Gambling Officers (RGOs) and other senior staff at venues the practical skills required to create a proactive environment focussed on harm minimisation and identify and support those who are experiencing gambling harm.
Course Cost: $300
Pre-requisite: Current NSW RCG Interim Certificate or RCG Competency Card
Outcome: ARCG course completion certificate and addition of ARCG endorsement to your current digital competency card.
Duration: 6+ Hours
Delivery: Virtual via Zoom, led in real-time by an approved ARCG trainer
Class Limit: 20 students
Assessments: Scenario based assessment
Valid in: Valid in NSW
Student Requirements: You will be required to have:
- A computer, tablet or iPad with a webcam
- A strong, reliable internet connection
- Microphone and speakers (preferably a headset and directional microphone for sound quality purposes)
Course Outcome:
Upon completion of the course, you will receive an ARCG completion certificate. If you hold a digital competency card, it will be added to your current competency card for free. If you would like the certification added to your physical competency card, please visit the competency card self-service portal.
Important Note: You cannot undertake this course with a valid NSW RCG endorsement (Interim Certificate or Competency Card).
